What Can You Run For?

At CBS, students have the chance to influence both their own programme and the university as a whole.

Depending on your interests, you can run for three bodies:

  • STUDY BOARD

    Shape your programme!

Study Boards work on the things students feel every day: social life & community initiatives, exam formats, curricula and electives, workload, teaching quality, and even scheduling. It’s where you turn ideas into improvements for your programme and your classmates. It’s the place where your voice can directly improve your programme for you and your fellow students.

  • ACADEMIC COUNCIL

    Set the direction of CBS!

You hold a central role in the advisory body to the President and senior management, shaping university-level education and research priorities. You’re there to bring the voice of 20,000+ students into big reforms and long-term decisions. As one of a small group of student representatives, you speak for all students at the university level.

  • BOARD OF DIRECTORS

    Representation at the very top!

Sit at the table with external professionals, professors, and CBS leadership to decide on budgets, strategy, and the overall development of CBS. This is the top of the decision chain - where you represent all students and make sure CBS never forgets its most important stakeholders: the students. You serve as one of the student members on the Board at the highest level of governance.
