What we do

The core of CBS Students is political representation of students at CBS. We engage with management of CBS and other stakeholders to increase

  1. Student influence

  2. Quality of education

  3. Student welfare

On top, we act as enablers (1) of the elected student representatives, (2) the student organizations at CBS. We share knowledge, help with navigating CBS, provide services, and act as a sparring partner.

notable projects

  • Hand throwing a closed envelope/ballot into a box with a slim opening at the top

    University election

Each autumn, CBS Students is engaged in organizing the University Election. We look for candidates for the Study Boards, Academic Council and Board of Directors and help them with their election efforts.

  • Taken at a high angle, display stands of student organizations pitching themselves to students who wander between the different stands. Similar to a career fair.

    Student society day

Towards the middle/end of September, we put together the Student Society Day. That is when 100+ student organizations at CBS gather on the same day at Solbjerg Plads.

  • Picturing an area packed with people enjoying themselves in front of Tuborg beer stands. Festival atmosphere on a bright day.

    Semester Start Celebration

Every September, we co-organize the Semester Start Celebration along with Café Nexus. An event of epic proportions, over 10 000 people gather between Solbjerg Plads and Kilen to properly kick off the semester. We start with activities from student organizations, external speakers, food trucks, and heaps of hygge. Later, DJs took over the stage.

  • Inside of the Australian House of Representatives. Blue toned room with seats arranged in half-circle. There is a 6-seats table in the middle with one large heightened chair in the front of the room.

    Student Senate

The student senate is a collection of all elected student representatives.

CBS Students hosts a senate meeting once a semester to discuss the challenges of the representatives and to decide the political direction of CBS Students.
