Event Description: Are you curious about how to become a co-creator of a more sustainable future? Start locally.
On September 13th and 14th, we celebrate the local engagement in the Global Goals when the Municipality of Frederiksberg, Student & Innovation House, Copenhagen Business School and Sustainable Now invite you to Festival for the Global Goals in Frederiksberg.
Join us as we transform Solbjerg Plads and the green area by Kilen into a colorful festival site that will be buzzing with knowledge, motivation to act and empowering experiences for people of all ages.
At Festival for the Global Goals, various workshops, activities, debates and dialogues will give you an opportunity to learn more about sustainability and the 17 Global Goals - and not least get inspiration on how you can make a positive change and difference yourself.
More than 40 associations, companies, start-ups and institutions will showcase sustainable initiatives and innovative solutions within:
- Community and volunteering
- Climate and energy
- Research and education
- Water and environment
- Cities and housing
- Waste management and recycling
- Food and biodiversity
- Innovation and entrepreneurship
- Consumption and production
- Diversity and equality
The program for Friday will have a strong focus on education and science.
During the day, local primary schools are invited to visit the festival and participate in workshops and activities.
In the afternoon, Student & Innovation House, CBS and KU Science will explore themes such as the sustainable university, sustainability and bioethics, social innovation and much more.
Throughout the two days, you can also enjoy a free Global Goals brunch, explore the urbanization maze, revitalize your old wardrobe, make your own nutella without palm oil, 'speed-date' a green start-up, and learn more about how to consume and invest sustainably and responsibly.
Follow this site as we reveal more details of the festival program.
Put a mark in your calendar and join us on September 13th and 14th. The festival is open to all visitors and admission is free.
We look forward to taking a step in the right direction together. See you at Festival for the Global Goals!
