CBS's Financial Student Organization, FinanceLab, hosts the first Diploma Based Trading Course in Denmark through partnership with GCMS (Global Capital Market Solutions) and CBS-Students.
The newest venture at CBS created and maintained by it’s very own student run financial organization, FinanceLab, is Denmark’s first Diploma Based Trading Course, educating the future financial market leaders before they even leave their student lives. GCMS provided first class education in the areas of Trading Tactics, Forex Trading, Equity Derivatives, and Technical Analysis spanning the 24th and the 25th of January 2010. Students at CBS were found engaging in teachings approaching the theories behind the actives in the markets of today through a very practical ‘real-world’ approach. Not only could participants enjoy the guidance and advice of seasoned traders, but also try things out for themselves with in-class trading - the basis for the teaching. The two day course culminated in all participants trading in Forex, CFD’s(Contracts For Difference), Equity, and Futures, some having never done so before.
The diploma program was offered to participants ranging from backgrounds of the green investor, never having invested before, to seasoned employee’s of financial institutions. All of which expressed positively having found the program a unique learning experience. This opportunity will be open to all, not only students and staff at CBS, from the later part of the first quarter 2010.
