Wonderful Distortion volunteers, we are in need of your help again!
We need 33 people to work at JuleDistortion December the 17th.
• at 15:00 - 01:00 8 bartenders
• at 20:00 - 04:00 12 bartenders
• at 22:00 - 06:00 8 bartenders
• at 20:00 - 06:00 5 runners (preferably men)
As a volunteer you get:
• Free entrance of course
• A night of ”hygge”, starting with dinner at Halvandet between 19-20

Dear God how we've been looking forward to announcing this wine tasting...
On the 20th of October, you are invited to a tasting of seven outstanding red, white and sparkling wines from the States. The wines represent American wine making tradition from the full-bodied and juicy to the refined and elegant. We've really gone all-out to round up the best that the West Coast has to offer, so feel free to spread the word :)

Det er med stor glæde, at CBS Gourmet kan præsentere dette semesters første officielle smagningsarrangement:
WHISKY FOR DUMMIES
Dette arrangement vil tage dig med på en rejse i whiskyens univers. Du hører den spændende historie, anekdoterne og lærer om de forskellige brands, regionerne, og om hvad produktions- og destilleringsmåde betyder for den enkelte whisky. Undervejs skal du dufte og smage 7 forskellige arter.

CBS Students invites to a “What do you wanna be, when you grow up?”-party! BUT: Ties will be cut and blazers confiscated in the door. Be creative and leave the dream of becoming CEO stay at home for one night.

Kampen mellem den "gamle" og den "nye" vinverden
Kære vinvenner
Så er CBS Wine klar med næste spændende smagning. Denne gang skal vi besøge Theis Vine og udforske det efterhånden klassiske tema ”Kampen mellem den ’gamle’ og den ’nye’ vinverden”. Vi starter med et godt glas champagne og kaster os derefter ud i at sammenligne en række vine som er lavet på samme drue, men kommer fra vidt forskellige områder. Se aftenens menu nederst.

Venture Cup Generator 2011
Venture Cup Generator is an intensive 12 hour "elite" entrepreneur event at Ernst & Young, which will focus on your specific idea and how to develop it further.

What could CBS do differently in general? How should CBS-Students respond to dramatic changes like Johan Roos’ resignation? Are we satisfied with the amount of group rooms? How should we respond to cuts in universities? How would a new Danish government and a new set of policies affect CBS?

Foredrag af Clement Kjærsgaard -Danmarks fremtid
Mandag d.21. marts indbyder RÆSON og CBS Students til foredrag med Clement Kjersgaard. Over halvanden time skitserer han fremtiden for Danmark som stat, samfund og nation. Arrangementet foregår i Ovnhallen fra kl 16.30 til 18, og er gratis for de første 100 CBS studerende, så mød op og få en plads til dette spændende arrangement!

Venture Cup would like to invite you to the monthly Friday Networking Bar at Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship on Friday the 18th of March from 16.00-19.00!

CBS Network Meeting
CBS Students are happy to announce that the first network meeting of the year are taking place at:

Besides introducing member organisations to a new year in the CBS Network, social-media-marketing company KOMFO, will give an introduction to Facebook-marketing your organisation.
Study Board Seminar
The aim of the seminar is to prepare active students for the tasks involved in the study board. The day will include a range of interesting and knowledgeable speakers on different topics related to study board activities and active student life. Furthermore, Danish Minister of the Interior and Health Bertel Haarder will be a guest speaker.

Etik i erhvervslivet - foredrag med Asger Aamund
CBS Responsibility Day er en del af CBS’ engagement i FN initiativet Principles for Responsible Management Eduaction – populært kaldet PRME. Dagen introducerer de studerende for ansvarlighed i en virksomheds- og en studiemæssig kontekst. Arrangementet afholdes næste gange - for trejde år i træk - i forbindelse med studiestart 1. september 2011. Som opvarmning til denne dag, kommer erhvervsmanden, Asger Aamund, nu til CBS og giver et indlæg om etik i erhvervslivet.

International Week Copenhagen
Dear CBS Student,
In Week 47 (Nov. 20th - 27th.) we are welcoming 25 International Students to Copenhagen and CBS. During that week, they will participate in country presentations, cultural activities, dinners, parties and other events all arranged by volunteer students at CBS. We are currently looking for people to host 1 of the 25 international students coming to Copenhagen. As a host, you provide the student with a bed/couch and some breakfast throughout the week.

Kom til debat om VKOs genopretningsplan med videnskabsminister Charlotte Sahl Madsen.
Vi - dvs. CBS Students og Studenterrådet v. KU, har i fællesskab med rektor på Københavns Universitet fået et debatmøde stablet på benene om regeringens genopretningsplan på tirsdag kl. 14.30-16.30.
Det bliver en paneldebat med videnskabsminister Charlotte Sahl Madsen og deltagelse fra Dansk Industri, Akademikernes Centralorganisation og vores egen Mikkel Zeuthen fra DSF.

Energy Crossroads inviterer til innovationsworkshop med fokus på bæredygtig byudvikling
Energy Crossroads inviterer den 24-25 april 2010 til to-dags innovationsworkshop med fokus på bæredygtig byudvikling. Workshoppen henvender sig på tværs af studieretninger til studerende, der kunne tænke sig at arbejde med at igangsætte og facilitere innovationsprocesser. Da workshoppen desuden er en del af et større byudviklingsprojekt vil der være fokus på problematikker indenfor bæredygtig byudvikling.Følg linket for at læse mere og registrere dig.

Politikkonferencen er Danske Studerendes Fællesråds øverste politiske myndighed, som afholdes to gange om året i henholdsvis foråret og efteråret.

Dance at CBS
CBS has now got its own dance team, and you can be a part of it for only DKR 300 per year!
Each semester we will practice dances within the Funk genre, choreographed by our teacher Viet Lee.
Practice is every Wednesday from until 4.30pm in the basement under Café La Cable at Dalgas Have.
Come and get a free try-out and see if it grows on you!
The cost is only 300 DKR for a semester (13 weeks), and it goes by the principle "first come - first served", so be quick and sign up!
CBS Marathon Challenge 2010
Are you up for a challenge in 2010? Then pay attention!
The idea of the project is to get as many CBS students as possible to run the Copenhagen Marathon of 2010 in sponsored t-shirts. All profits will be handed to a charity project within the terms of education and development in Africa. This year we have chosen "100% for børnene", which is an athletic competition for orphans in Tanzania.
Stardust presenting Start Up Bootcamp in cooperation with Rainmaking
Stardust has an event with Rainmaking the 10th of February at Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship (just next to the Wedge/Kilen) at 5pm. Rainmaking will tell about their Start Up Bootcamp where you get the possibility to get your project funded with 25.000 dkk per team member and mentorship. Furthermore Rainmaking will tell about venture capital, how to capture it and what VCs are looking for when investigating your business plan.
FinanceLab hosts first trading diploma course in Denmark
CBS's Financial Student Organization, FinanceLab, hosts the first Diploma Based Trading Course in Denmark through partnership with GCMS (Global Capital Market Solutions) and CBS-Students. The newest venture at CBS created and maintained by it’s very own student run financial organization, FinanceLab, is Denmark’s first Diploma Based Trading Course, educating the future financial market leaders before they even leave their student lives.
